There is no history data for spread. This means when back testing it is a static number and will not factor in spread fluctuations.

This logic is good. We cannot get Close from a DDE feed. How can we do tick by tick speed this way? Accounting for spread is a challenge.

To be accurate all pairs must be calculate on the same time frame. I believe it is wise to account for missing bars by counting bars to a fixed time. Of course then we must account for market closures to calculate the correct time..... dlouw

Forgive me for my confusion but i thought to get a strength there must be a high/ low range. If there is a range it would have to be based on some length of time to establish a high and a low. A single tick is only one price with the same beginning ...

They both fluctuate with the same current bid. How could one have more lag than the other? Derek
