Jeff Schulze: It’s been a welcome development for the Fed [US Federal Reserve], quite honestly. If you look at core PCE (Personal Consumption Expenditures), which is the Fed’s preferred measure of inflation, you look at the annualized three- and six-month rate of that, it came in at 2.5% and 2.6%, respectively.
