According to preliminary data from the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), real (price-adjusted) production in the manufacturing sector fell by 0.1% in April 2024 compared to March 2024, adjusted for seasonal and calendar effects. In a three-month comparison, production from February 2024 to April 2024 was 1.0% higher than in the previous three months. The preliminary result was confirmed for March 2024 (-0.4% compared to February 2024).
