NZ Powerball winner tries to go to work after pocketing millions

A New Zealand man who became an instant millionaire decided his new wealth wasn’t a good enough reason to miss a day’s work – helping to build a new motorway. The Powerball winner from Warkworth, near Auckland, pocketed $17m (NZ$19.1m). And despite winning big, the man tried turning up for a hard day on the job. "He turned up for the work, and I think the rest of the team said, 'Mate, you probably need to go home,'" his co-worker said.
