EIA: US natural gas storage up by 84 Bcf
Working natural gas in storage across the United States amounted to 2,795 billion cubic feet (Bcf) in the week ending May 24, according to a report released by the Energy Information Administration (EIA) on Thursday. The total storage thus expanded by 84 Bcf compared to the previous week. In comparison to the same period a year earlier, gas stocks rose by 380 billion cubic feet and were 586 billion cubic feet above the five-year average of 2,209 billion cubic feet. The total working gas was higher than the five-year historical range.
