I had the same problem with Alpari, the spike upwards is magically missing from the chart too

Well I hope no-one was in the Euro this morning, 3 losses already and lining up for a possible fourth... i'm glad I steered clear of it. G/U has one loss but one profitable trade still running. I've been looking at GBP/JPY with this system, looks ...

Yes, burned twice today already on E/U. Made part of it back on G/U. I may focus exclusively on G/U from now on.

You're right mer, only 2 losses. I'm talking nonsense

G/U hit TP4 early afternoon no problem, some drawdown on E/U today sadly, there were three consecutive losses, I stopped taking trades after two of them. It did eventually hit TP4 but I had stopped trading the pair by this time.

I took all of my profits at TP2 for G/U because it's looking a little overextended at current levels and I don't want to be around for the CPI. Don't like the look of those wicks. Could well be wrong. Pips locked in for e/u with TP3 hit. Will apply ...

Strong start for the USD, netted 46 pips on Euro and 27 on G/U. All stops and TP's hit for these two pairs. May get a second run at it.

Please disregard the figures I posted in my last post, I misinterpreted lukep's post. I did a proper count this week and I got +101.7 weighted pips on euro. Again there were two losses as outlined in the last post. GBP/USD looks better, although I ...

Well, a very conservative 'back of an envelope' forward test of this week, if you had followed ALL the entries resulted in around +191 on the pips on the E/U weighted by the progressive TP points (The actual pip count is much higher). So with a ...

Hello Chaps. Well I cancelled my order on G/U. I'm pretty sure we'll see some down movement tomorrow on Cable but we shall see. I am VERY drunk so I can't properly analyse the posts thus far. But I do appreciate everyones contributions.

I noticed that high on Cable. Zoom out on a daily chart and it's a good reaction point. Tempted to put a short on but i'm going to the pub and I don't think i'd be able to relax. Thoughts anyone ???

Here's a trade I took. Not strictly by the rules. Just a straightforward S&R play. Already closed half the position and got stop at B/E.

FYI Mer, I don't know if you took that second G/U trade, but I'm pretty certain that trendmagic filtered it out at the time (while price was passing entry), and repainted after the fact. Even so, you're still in the money if you followed the rules!

For G/U, upside, 1.6450, then 1.6595, based on confluence of fibo lines at 23.6 & 61.8 ? Downside, 1.62159, 1.61273? Not too sure if i've understood correctly. Cheers.

Hey thanks Popee. So easy to understand when it's laid out clearly like that. I'll set the ball rolling then. Oh yeah you can see price pauses a little bit around the fib in the second entry. So you could either TP or set SL to b/e, I guess.

I would say go for it, keep money management in the forefront of your mind, and trade very small lot sizes while you get used to the nuances of live trading. What is your system?

Extremely choppy price action on the dollar pairs, I lost some cash today but if you'd stuck with it, and with the GBP/USD too, I think you would have turned a profit. G/U made two bull runs up to TP4, although i'm fairly sure trendmagic didn't line ...

I'm sure you did, but you're completely forgetting the rest of the normal distribution. Most will hover around the average, i.e. making or losing small amounts or standing still. And a few others at the other extreme, i.e. blowing entire accounts. ...
