Thats interesting, in a more recent post Pharoh wanted the same thing. I allready coded the basic EA but it does not have MM or TS yet. Projects for another day I suppose. see url

I've been trying to optimize on USDJPY 5M with no luck, methinks this will not work as is. (was trying to optimize MA_Period and StopLoss) edit: Woops repeat post

I don't think the one I wrote will work as is, I have been trying to optimize it (on USDJPY) but it apparently has no profitalble parameters. (have only been trying to optimize MA_PERIOD and StopLoss)

Here ya go — Here it is for you. I left out the MM, because I am not very good at coding that yet. Someone else can add it. Also, it works at the beginning of every bar, not within bars like you ask, if I did that the price can cross the MA ...

Switch to the UK branch of your broker, or a broker that has a UK branch, then you don't have to worry about the stupid NFA anti hedging law.

I've added the ATR and done some backtesting, with and without ATR. The ATR causes significant loss unless it's period is set as high as 22, in which case it caused the EA to make VERY slightly more money in the optimized period. This is only with ...

Oh wait I see now, the 20 SMA is allready built into the EA. OK then I will add the ATR filter, I will set defaults to what you say but make the variables external so you can change for backtesting ect.

It would be simple enough to add an ATR filter in the BlockTradingFilter1() function, but I don't know what you mean by "if ATR...according to 20 SMA". Do you mean two filters: ATR and SMA? Also, seems that the period M15 ATR(8) is almost always ...
