As a math major, I am familiar with Matlab, and thus the EA I intend to develop will be extremely mathematical based. What I have found so far is that MT4 is limiting in it's backtesting. I have not been able to figure out (if possible) how to ...

TP on my USD/CAD shorts. (I was going for 1.04, but settled for 1.044 because my roommate is coming today and I'd rather not fiddle with charts on Friday when many beers are being consumed. I probably could have waited though since 1.04 was easily ...

Just moved back into my house at university -a new semester begins! Waiting right now on all my USD/MXN and USD/CAD shorts to hit TP, first target for CAD is 1.04. Haven't made any trades in the past week, just been watching these.

1. There is no time in the market, only price. Market charts are 2-dimensional (price vs time) which display continuity. But, for your philosophical rendition, let's assume there exists only price. One-dimensionality merely limits the information ...

image Of course this is not true because we define x=0 and you can't divide by zero in the 2nd to 3rd step. Most don't see this. I use a trailing/martingale-type system of trading. Proper money management enables me to buy every 100 pips a trade ...

Yup, average price at ~1.0500, just waiting for the drop. Also shorted some USD/MXN at avg price of 12.1927. Just some "bad luck" for the CAD, there will be a correction soon. I hope, haha.

My broker is Oanda and I don't ever take the swap into consideration when making traders....I find the cost is negligent in terms of the potential profits.
