OK, I think I see where I went wrong. I was focused on H2 engulfing H1 and the previous high from 10/4. Price was saying it wants to go down when L2 engulfed L1. So I should've looked at Trick 1 to sell. Not pip perfect and the stop was 20 pips wide ...

OK, I'm scratching my head over this one. Price came down to the purple circle and seemed to hold for a couple of hours but ultimately fell thru. Is this failure because Price at H3 didn't engulf H1? There was a nice engulf of H2 by H3 and there was ...

I believe AU just completed a textbook Can Can. Pole, drop back to base of pole, CP into supply and drop back to base of pole and CP. There was even an engulf for icing on the cake.

Hi V - futures rollover is mostly volume or time based which can be the same thing, i.e. on a particular date when everyone starts trading the next contract. You can go to Barchart.com to find out this info. You can find some of this data for free ...

Thanks T - I do realize that one needs to understand the script and not the stage necessarily which would explain why no one has asked about Can Can alot. Engulf, retrace, move to target in what ever form that all takes, seems to be the key. The ...

If I'm allowed to ask this question(s), what is the definition of a Can-Can and can someone show a chart of one please? Also, describe how you would trade it. I don't think I saw a post of one in this thread, but I could be wrong, it's been a blur. ...

Hello IF et al! To say that my journey in trading has been typical is an understatement, although I haven't blown an account yet! My trading has been inconsistently BE, if there's even a term for that. I was a member of RTM when it was a couple of ...

Thanks Chris and mzvega for the info. I don't remember reading about Shape Factor 'SF' in VBPT, MOM, MIP or CBOT manual. The Cisco site is mostly down now and has been for a week or more. Is there a formula for SF? If so, I would greatly appreciate ...

'Hello Houston, we have a problem...'. When you get a chance, export the data for GBPAUD for 12/21/15 for 3-day using 'Min. tpo's in distribution' == 3. BTW, this is no big deal, just a labeling issue. The lower part of the indicator should say ...

OK - I'm going to ask a direct question. What is the definition of a Bracket? If the answer is 1 distribution and no other factors, then why does the info box below the profile say 'Non-Bracketing'. The exported file says there's only 1 distribution ...

OK - I guess you don't understand my question. This isn't a parameter issue for the indicator but a conceptual one. If the indicator says 'Non-Bracketing' but there's only 1 Distribution, isn't this wrong? Doesn't 'Non-Bracketing' mean there's more ...

Hi Guys - quick question. Today's GBPAUD composite 3, 5, 10-day profiles all say 'Non-Bracketing' even though they have only 1 distribution. Looking at the exported info, I see nothing to indicate that it would be non-bracketing. Is there some other ...

Hi mzvega - thanks for such a quick response. Thanks for the tip on how to access the cisco site. You don't happen to have the page where I can see the AMVA references like you quoted on post #88? Or maybe a page that has a TOC?. Also, I don't ...
