IMHO. The direction I am seeing right now is down to maybe 3580/70 area then a retrace to around 3640/50 area and then the trend reversal down to 3200 with minor stops along the way at s/r levels....or just straight down.

Are you in a bad mood today? Here's a hug just for you....

yep, then a pullback, a retest, and down. One scenario. Or just up. Another scenario. But I am going with #1 for my own reasons.

I remember somebody once reported a 500 point gap down and when the market opened it was where we left it on Friday. A 200 pont gap down for Sunday/Monday wouldn't upset me though, especially if it just kept on going.

Bloomberg has it at 1.3634

1 - I'm still not convinced this crap works. 2 - IF - IF it comes close (within 100 points) of being right, I will test the crap out of it. 3 - I am looking for every reason to prove/disprove it's valid. 4 - I think price is going up up up just like ...

To start, I hope this chart isn't as big as I think it is going to be. If it is HUGE I will delete it and make it smaller. My first time trying to get a GIF resized to work. It is a 1004 tick chart by the way....very similar to 1h. A friend of mine ...

A little trivia April 3rd NFP - EU price was 3429 before announcment and price went to 3580. Then dropped over several weeks to 2900.

EU on the daily fast trix. I understand that is short term and has to be validated with the slow trix. I added a Kase Peak Oscillator, but not being an MT programmer I can't modify it the way it works on my other charting package. It would be ...

Short term signal on the daily fast trix, but first I have seen in 17 days. My other charts are showing it will take a break of 3200 to be considered a long term. I have not used THV before for anything other than pivots, so this is my first couple ...

Thats what I think too. I'm scalping today to get a little coin. I've been testing Cobras THV on longer tf. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next few days. I got the first "short signal" on the daily today. Have to see how that ...

If we get a break of 3260 I don't think 3180 would be out of the question. And if that happens....the trend is changing. I don't think we will see 3400 for a while, but I have been wrong before.

2 days ago there were buyers at 3400 and today sellers. Price is never too high to buy or too low to sell. Look at a bigger TF and you will see....it is just now starting to look bearish.

The zones were right, who cares what session it's in or if it is off by a few pips. Not me.
- dysan4x replied May 6, 2009
There's going to be more sellers now than before with the rejection at the 3400 area. We have had a lower high and a lower low. I don't usually go by what the market analysis says, but read occassinallym and they are looking at sellers in the 3440 ...

price has been bouncing in the range between the daily 200MA and the 1h 200MA for days/weeks. The one that breaks tells us if we are going up or down.
- dysan4x replied May 6, 2009
If there had been an initial 200 point jump I would then be saying WTF. The market was already slowly moving up and that was just 50 points. Not much. Let's see the other shoe drop and then know where we are going. We have to retest 3440 anyway. May ...

welllll this is boring. how about another 8 days of ranging like it did in March when it was at the top of the chanel and then a big drop to the bottom? I could go for that but don't expect it. news will get this thing moving again.

oh well - I'm not a conspiracy theorist but this smells bad. Still along for the ride where ever we go.

yeah....too quick. Somebody needs a weak $ for a reason and is pushing this market around. When we find out what the reason is - watch out below.
