Longs: On 1h beware of the 200 SMA (strong resistance) currently at 242.05. There is also a fib at 241.83. I would expect a stall in that range.

You may already know this but shorter time frames are going to give you shorter moves. Good for scalps (25-50 pips). If you are looking for that 300 pip move, use the 4h & 1h.

There is alot of uncertainty in the markets right now. USD is waiting on Big B's comments tomorrow. Uncertainty=sideways. For what its worth I am short on a small lot and I am watching it closely. Following Auslanco's rules, the 1h SI has not ...

What is your rule about lot size? In other words, why did you choose 40%?

You are welcome. If you are trading GJ, always keep an eye on GU & UJ. If they are trending against each other (usually because of USD), GJ is hell to trade. But when they are trending together...cha-ching!!!

My stance on NFP: As you probably know, NFP was lower than expected (bad for USD). What does that do for G/J? Well, it could create volitility and whipsaw action. Here's why: G/J=U/J x G/U, USD is bearish so U/J would be a good short, G/U would be a ...

GJ is stalled on the 38.2 fib @ 242.82. Should breakout up to continue trend.

If the 1h bar can close above the 38.2 fib, longs will be very happy.

It wasn't intended to be a warning. What I would do if I was long from the 5 SMA. Is 1) put my SL below the trendline. 2) Maybe increase my position if it breaks out with a buy stop order. If I was to do 1) I would make sure that didn't increase my ...

See the blue line. It is a 24 LWMA. I usually scalp off the ret to that on 1h for +50 gain.

Trader, please, please, please go take the school at babypips before you trade live. Don't get mad at me, but many here agree with me. If you can't draw a 5 SMA, you should not be trading. I demoed for a year and then followed the same pattern as ...

FYI: next fib: 50%: 244.41, however, I would watch for a ret on the 200 SMA on the 1h. Currently around 243.95.

Well, it blew through my trendline. But what are you basing the probability on? It will probably bounce on the 50 fib. But, my charts show a lot of uncertainty and ranging. I am not in a trade right now but I might grab a scalp or two until a trend ...
