1. I wish ranges would last forever. 2. Yes I am also taking the breakout here...if it EVER happens.

dude that is insane. you ought to be taking the rest of the month off...how many pips are you going for? my best week ever was +820 on e/j alone, but that was in a strong trend and with some pyramiding. (strong trend on H1, on D1 and W1 was a range ...

thanks man. i'm curious, is your tp always a fixed multiple of your risk, e.g. 2R or 3R?

you have been doing really well lately! congrats. i'm not a believer in patterns but your results make me want to check out your stuff. thanks for the link in one of your previous posts btw. e/j looks to me just like it did before the nice drop on ...

well i was kinda screwed there huh-hit my trail stop for a few pips. i hate this chop. this picture is starting to look familiar, similar to how it looked before the bottom fell out on 11/25. i'm still gonna reposition short. nice job taking your ...

sorry to hear that — i've been in that situation before in equities. i don't know anything about news but if it was me just looking at the chart i would cut loose as soon as possible and forget about it. it's a bad position but now you will ...

124.50 — anyone like 124.50 for a long if that level is reached?

short at 130.45, tp at 129. if my tp is hit, and that looks possible tonight, i'm probably gonna go for one more short on a pullback and call it a week. if price reverses before my tp, as is often the case haha, then i might have to be less lazy.

that's great to have a low risk per trade. the lower you risk per trade, the longer you can last, and the longer you can last the better you will get. of course at some point the leverage has got to go up, but the learning curve is very long.

Not much. Just looking forward to the market open tomorrow evening. I don't know what to do with myself when I'm not staring at e/j haha. How are you? Do you only trade gartley?

I agree that we might see some down for the beginning of this week. As far as 127.00, I think that has been an important level but given that it's been hit so many times already I don't expect it to hold for long. But then again who knows. If we ...

Glad to see I'm not alone. As long as the week was positive though, it's cool. Also I'm a big fan of your breakfast/lunch combo haha.

if anyone is wondering who bought the high of the day...guilty! one of my worst trades ever as far as discipline haha. thank the forex gods for stops. i will drink the pain away.

Well now that we've had a break above 130.50 I'm looking to go long on some kind of pullback. What are you guys thinking?

Actually I'm kinda hesitant to trade any more this week. I'm on one of those winning streaks where I get more and more nervous about my next trade because I'm expecting to hit a loser soon. It's silly. Of course if I see something set up that I feel ...

138-139 level — i don't have much faith in this level holding yet again...what do you guys think. maybe an upward target of 140-141 is more realistic and then a down move from there? then again, even if going short at 138 again is not the best ...
