...and today!

NY session opens at 8:00 am EST. 1300GMT.

Mine was 3.5 pips, so it did meet the criteria. It doesn't really matter as I would be hard pressed to trade this type of strategy with real money.
- wrenski replied Dec 19, 2011
No luck on this strategy today.

I did not go into that much detail on the trades. The OP stated he had 4 winners and 1 loser and I saw something different and I simply asked for some clarifications as to where I went wrong in my visual back testing.

So the 7:00 NY candle is your 6:00 am (CST) candle which is the 12:00 GMT candle. Is this correct? Show us a chart with your lines marked, if you can.

How many pairs did you check to to count 4000 pips in one month?
- wrenski replied Dec 15, 2011
Yes, there will be LITTLE liquidity, as you stated.
- wrenski replied Dec 14, 2011
Even if they don't...we can short it.
- wrenski replied Dec 13, 2011
Sad but true...I bailed with 40 and could have had 80. That's trading!
- wrenski replied Dec 13, 2011
Just picked up a quick 40 pips on an EU sell.
- wrenski replied Dec 9, 2011
I caught the pullback candle on the m15 and I am up 36 now.
- wrenski replied Dec 9, 2011
EU + 70 at the moment.
