I got to a break-even and was taken out just before the giant candle. It seemed like it wasn't cooperating with the one-to-one expectation, and the bar-by-bar was getting super super weak. So I'm ok with taking a "loss" here. I count break-evens as ...

I'm right there with you. Long term is still a NSH.

Took a small short for a 3 points, but got out a little early as I was suspecting the short term was about to shift to the upside... Then saw a good double bounce back into the longer term swing up, so took it for 21 points. I'm riding a tight stop ...

Got another 1:1 harmonic completion. I got in one candle too late (my fault, I was surfing the internet and not watching closely), but pulled out 10 points. EDIT: Actually, 2 candles too late. Still was expecting the 1:1, so it was worth it on my ...

You can trade live on the free version. I did for about a week, and I decided it was worth the expense from a long term standpoint to buy the license.

Took a nice long at the opening of the market. Made a quick 25 pips following expectation of a NSH. It was a 1:1 harmonic and I took nearly the whole dang thing! Mr. Pip!!! Thank you so much!!!

There might be an indicator that can do it for you? Not sure. I only used the free version of ninja for a very short period and then bit the bullet to buy the lifetime license. I really wanted the ability to use ATM strategy along with the cheaper ...

You are right! Harmonic 1:1 completion, I could have made a bunch of money today but emotions got in the way. :-)

Full transparency! I sometimes still get out of trades too early. ;-) I took another long and it really looked like it was hitting a brick wall and so I got out with $10 loss... and now it's moving toward the expectation higher. So, yeah. Still ...

The short answer is, yes. If i'm on the wrong side of the expectation, or rather the expectation looks to be failing, I will sometimes attempt to add-on to the trade to get a more graceful exit. (I usually only do that when I have reason to believe ...

Kicked out at 10 points profit. So easy, like taking candy from babies.

Update. Locked in at the 1:1 risk/reward level. Price is having trouble getting past this point, so I'm fine with getting kicked out. I can always get back in!

Random Backtesting to hone some skillz... Expectations played out every time. The first 2 trades were a little better than break even, I should have trailed price up better. The last 2 trades were better because I trailed better. :-)

Ratios & Harmonics: a Different Way to TradeI have one quick question on entry candles. I recall you saying at one point the entry candle shouldn't trade below the previous candle. Is that ...

I agree with Mr. Pip! I used to create my own indicators, and had dozens of them filling up my chart, so that I missed price entirely. :-) For what it's worth, any calculation based on price will be one deviation away from price. The more ...
