Dont forget that broker rates, are essentially artificial rates, they can move them as they please if, so I am sure they have measures in place to counter this possibility.

I have read all of the books in the above list, some are better than others, I would probably recommend John Murphy, Steve Nilson and Alexander Elder as the one's I found most useful. Happy trading!

Well if you look at the weekend just gone, especially at the JPY pairs, it gapped around 50 pips on my trading platform so at times there can be decent movement (granted not compared to a weekday range but still enough to chew up a stop loss)
For those holding positions over the weekend, check how your currency is doing!

Anyone with stone hard discipline and a good work ethic could learn to be profitable in my opinion (profitable, but not necessarily well off), there are enough systems out there that are at least profitable if stuck to to the letter ... very few do ...
