For what I know... yes I'm sure
EMA 25-50 Trading System (Detailed)But if someone with more knowledge knows a way... come and share it! Whatever we choose, i+1, i+2, i+4... it has to apply to all candles.

The modified version is done... I'm only making sure if I have to make other changes, before releasing it (so that I don't release one version every 5 minutes
EMA 25-50 Trading System (Detailed)) Yes. The version called "configurable" is the one you want. The last edit on it was ...

Yes, but my logic was to make it comparable with real trading, telling us how many winning/loosing operations (orders) have been put in the market (sum of that = total orders)... except for break-even trades, which I didn't know how to consider them ...

Guys, It's late around here, but I've been coding the bugs in the pip counter (remember it?) and I think I got it counting right. Just one question about the win/lost ratio (not that it matters that much), would you prefer it to: 1) count each arrow ...

Yes. Still going to think it over after a good night sleep, to consider the options and solutions.

Here is the change in the SL and SL_after_profit management. If you load it on your current EURUSD, you'll see it in action at 01/08: a short trade reaching TP2 becomes a losing one, because that candle reaches both levels (this is seen in my config ...

1) The bold option seems to easiest to change, without having to change the all indicator. 2)Only way would be to use i+4 but I'm scheptical about that... It won't have repainting issues, but I think that in live mode the previous gives better ...

tazmaan, First of all, thanks for sharing. Like Corre said, I hope you're doing it in demo for now. " But I don't know if the EA has bugs (as he says), or if it's just problems concerning the parameters, depending if you use a service provider that ...

Just by looking to the code, I would say yes, it's just a question of changing the order, putting the SL condition's check before the TP conditions. Don't go there... it brings it to an "impossible to code" level
EMA 25-50 Trading System (Detailed)And for those things, we need ...

Yes, but like I said above, it will never be 100% accurate; At the very least, we'll always have the problem/possibility of one candle reaching both SL & TP1 values, but indicating only one of them, and we can't know which came first... the software ...

If it's a demo account, can you tell us which server (service provider) are you using? Because in the defaults parameters, it's set to allow fractional lots (mini/micro lots), but my demo account only seems to work with normal lots, so the defaults ...

I never mentionned it before (because I thought it was obvious), but there's another limitation to the coding of the indicator - I don't know if you noticed it: If you have a entry signal, and the present candle moves in one direction but at some ...

One last question: Between these changes you have seen, did you switch between timeframes in your chart (I mean did you see the first sign, then changed timeframe in the chart, and then return to the 1H timeframe and the arrow had changed place)? I ...

Corre, The Stochastic is coded as you say since the beginning
EMA 25-50 Trading System (Detailed)Between the 2 stochastic I came across with, there was a big difference: When set to 4H in the 1H timeframe, for example if we are in the last fourth hour, one varies the last 4 hours ...

aajduk, I thought in PMs we could send attachements... since we can't, here it is. Some considerations: If you want to look only at open above, and close below EMA for short (and reverse for long), it has to be on the previous candle, because of the ...

Be aware that version's (16/07) pip counter isn't right, so don't rely on it. Edit: Sorry, that day had 2 attachements of that version... the second one had improvements in counting, but still not exact.

OK, I'll be home in 3h and I'll start checking. The configurable indicator (edited by Zen) is maybe the only I haven't open yet, I will check if something was changed in it's parameters. If not, I'll have to test it longer, to see the reason.
