Get a copy of your or any MT4 demo running on a different machine, one that is hopefully Windows XP - when you install it, install it into the root directory, instead of C:|Program Files|MetaTrader, in other words, install it into C:|MetaTrader. ...

Thinkorswim as a brokerage and piece of software is being overtaken by the competition, and other than a niche for options traders and analysis, there's little reason IMHO to be with them. Aside from the options analysis, there is no reason to trade ...

I think someone mentioned Broco possibly, but for free (data) or MT4 sources, I am unaware of any. Although I still use MT4 (via Citibank) and have a huge reliance on it's volume data, I do much analysis and charting in NinjaTrader, which is now ...

url url There's links to the full copy of Master The Markets around as well, which is really the prerequisite to taking on VSA - it in fact, is an excellent guide to markets, charting, and so much that is trading related.

CTRL-M in MT4. As an aside, the ideal MT4 broker time is where it turns 00:00 as it turns 5pm EST, thus, the daily candles close at 5pm NY time, and the 4H candles are properly built. I use FxPro's MT4 demo for this.

"This indicates to me it doesn't work." - No offense, but that is one of the dumbest things and conclusion(s) I've read in quite some time. (And yes I am aware of the irony of my attitude here and what you've tried to contend.) And how you seem to ...

As tgwhbb noted, it's the one listed here which I use regularly and find it of tremendous trading aid; just make sure you set the DayStartHour to the right (5pm NY time) based on your broker's clock. The thread itself is quite worthy of review too. ...

700 pip gap? Is that what you're saying? If so, it is not true. Apparently, this is how urban myths start - through misinformation and false facts. As an example, 9/11 caused a 500 pip drop (obviously not through a weekend) if I'm not mistaken, but ...

Time to explore a new broker? Not sure if it's jforex - if so, they say refreshing might fix it. If it's MT4, it's one bad tick more than likely - or a API/bridge issue - which means the broker is suspect as far as I'm concerned. I'm with Citibank, ...

As Malcolm would say, you'll never get poor trading upthrusts and shakeouts. This is 6B, GU futures. Along with a few basic facts, just repeat. 1) 1.65 is significant resistance - I see it as the new 1.64. 2) GU had 100+ up move on no news; granted ...

VSA Can't possibly work, and definitely not for spotfx(That's irony BTW) — I have discovered a new love - can't believe I hadn't been following AUDUSD, esp. since I trade Asia much of the time. What a trendy and channel-adhering pair. And, ...

I'm just offering my opinion, but I am quite passionate about the less than 5M charts. In fact, the 2M is fantastic and has way less noise for picking those 30/40 pip (or less) swings which can often lead to the ideal entry as a longer term ...

EU definitely had limited run potential today - mind you, 130 pips is not too bad, and a potential close at the upper end. An argument could be made that the lows were rejected and that additional supply will be sought upwards. BUT, the drop from ...

I had expected 1.412 to cap it, but she kept on seeking higher. Note the textbook reversal to Friday's low and then back down - sellers into the rise and a 2 bar reversal on M15 for 40 pips. Up to that high, at 130 pips ADRs on absolutely no news, ...

There was clear buying down at the low 1.41's, but I see it more as support to prevent a premature fall. Check the H1 TL and how well it's held - we may be in a breakout, or maybe not. The lows buying is OK IMHO, but not spectacular, and the ...

It would be most helpful to screenshoot a chart. If you/we can compare the chart to other reputable broker's charts, then it is not a hard case to make; FXDD isn't quite the bottom of the broker barrel. Not sure if you or others are aware, if you ...
