stop distance is based on market-conditions, can’t just use a fixed number. at least the current atr in the timeframe you use should be considered.

spreads are usually tighter on cTrader as most brokers charge commissions. (which I personally prefer) but in the end, its just another way of calculating the service charges .. on the technical side, i never touched mt4 again after trying ctrader ...

the gap caused an 11$ loss on your account (according to the screenshot you provided, that is a 1% loss .. not a 360% loss. plus you are on the 1 minute chart .. so the gap is sure NOT 237 pips ... also on a demo account the broker has not to come ...

i noted that they doe "correct themselves" once the data is available .. meaning if you draw in the H1 chart .. then switch to M5 and zoom out .. the line will re-ajust that's is simply because the data is not there in the M5 chart until you zoom to ...
