Hey puks... good to see AUD is taking a breather eh. Snatched up about a nice bunch pips so far. I'm still gonna ride it down. The article that you posted was exactly what I was going on. Over-optimisim and sustainability. The recovery should be a ...

I'm not really a technical's person but fundamentaly we'll pull back because of the markets profit taking. Along with concerns for economic recoveries and sustainability. However technically, we're seeing lower highers and lower lows in a way... on ...

Excel ftw. Use spreadsheets to calculate what you can hold and what you can't. Good to have an overview of the limitations of your account before entering into a trade.

Heh I'm still pretty new to this, but in essence, isnt it the same as trading CADUSD (just reverse it so its not USDCAD). To be honest... I'm just a student who has never done any sort of economics lol. Snatched 55 pips from my Euro short so god ...

I'd wait it out. If it comes to 8750, short another lot. If it comes into profit, close the lot. You need to ensure you can handle the lots you trade with. Also make sure you give enough spacing between the lots. eg entry at 8400, re entry at 8500, ...

Some bad retail and home loan figures are out. This could put a pinch on the over-optmism I mentioned before. Aud aught to pull back now, will be looking for long opportunities as soon as I close this short.

Hence 9000 being unwarranted. The RBA doesnt want too strong of an AUD either so I'd guess they'd try to sell some off. Fears of sustainability and over-optimism might return in the coming weeks as well... not saying that the recovery is a false ...

I'd wait till 9000 before going all in.. RBA hasnt increase the rate as of yet so 9000 should be unwarranted. Might look for a re-entry long at 8500, half lot. The recent highs might be due to stops being triggered so the retrace should come soon ...

Hmm with the current market it seems like AUD will be holding above 85c for a while... Gold is up and the news about equities recovering well might provide strong support for the aussie.
