Morning folks. Let's see what that AUD has to dish up today.

Not bad en0x. In fact I would say that's pretty good given you've finished the day nicely positive even after a less than optimal performance. Pat yourself on the back (LOL) and move on.

Good trading folks. Missed that last runner as I was out.....just the reality of real life getting in the way. Still ended positive for the day after capturing this mornings runner. Now on to the Euro...

Trolling?? Hardly! I started to the other day if you remember, but that seemed to cause some confusion as I manage trades slightly differently (entry is the same). I'll happily post up my entries from now on......

Excellent.

And back on to system II trading. Sorry for the missed posts folks, had to do my real job for a bit..... John - what made you enter @ 27 rather than @33-34?
- shodd replied Nov 23, 2009
Sound rationale John.

I have taken 0 trades as yet. I wait for the first pullback from the first qualified swing (I use min of 16 pips on the AUD). The entry some took around the 50 mark was not ideal as price had only swung up 10-15 at the time. Give the market a little ...

en0x - re candle length......it's all relative.

BTW en0x - backslapping fuels your ego. Ego is a naughtly little thing most of the time.....it wants to personally own all of your winners (your winners become a reflection of yourself ie "how good am I") and none of your losers (it is the market ...

Just wanted to talk about this for a min. I'm not saying people should scrutinise every setup, as that would be counter productive. What I am saying is use a little common sense when applying the rules. Last night was a good example. I saw lots of ...

Morning folks. Lets see what the Aussie serves up today. A few thoughts for the day - Fear....discard it. You don't need it. If you have it you will lose. Grow a pair and get on with things. Do you know what you need to do to squash your fears? ...
- shodd replied Nov 23, 2009
by growing a pair....simple.
- shodd replied Nov 22, 2009
Not really. I left behind daily goals some time ago as it interferred with my decision making process. These days I simply take what the market is willing to give (a well worn cliche I know).

Hi en0x and John, Very true about stops - I have never taken a full loss nor do I intend to in the future But you have to have a max stop in order to put the correct size on. In that trade I posted before my entry was at 0.9177 (1 pip plus spread ...

I see how I have confused you now sorry mate. My spread on the aussie is usually around 1-2. In the example I gave my max risk was 16 pips including spread, so again sorry for the confusion.

There shouldn't be anything random about it. I've said before that the AUD moves approx 65-75% of the Euro. Below is an example (my 2nd trade for the day) - 16 pip risk on this one.....
