I agreed after shaking off idiocy. The same would also be true if you reversed it however. Scenario 1) UJ was steady at 122.00 So cable moving from 1.9900 to 1.9950 would cause GJ to move from 242.78 to 243.39 = 61 pips Scenario 2) UJ steady at ...

ok following from this we now assume GU as static at 2.0000 and that UJ falls to 1.2199 we now have GJ at 243.98 ( a loss of 2 pips) if UJ rises to 1.2201 and GU remains static We now have 2.4402 ( a gain of 2 pips) proof (er... I think) that UJ ...

far be it for this humble trader to point out the flaw in your otherwise meticulous argument but wouldn't it stand to reason that UJ would also have to be trading higher in order for volatility to increase?

That's my problem with elliot waves. Picking tops is a tricky business, and even when a retrace is underway it can still turn out to be an incorrect EW analysis. I fail to see any concrete value in then constantly refining a hypothesis until ...

Fella, congratulations, your wallet might be thinner than mine but you seem to be catching up. I think what people may be objecting to is your de facto statements of what will happen without even cursory notice being paid to evidence that doesn't ...

well, GU is flying and a nice 4 hr pin bar just popped up off the UJ trendline at the 61.6 fib of the last move up. am unconvinced that shorting GJ in this environment is a particularly good idea

possible UJ trade? — image daily bar does not look prime, but the 4 hr shows a pin off previous resistance and near confluence of long term trend line, the 23.6 fib of the main move north and the 61.8 of the last big move

Hey Clusterwise! At the risk of minor irritation please could you make your charts a tiny bit smaller, It seems to be messing up the thread size. Good call by the way, I, unfortunately, am not doing magnificently this morning, alas all seemed rosy ...

Two blokes with a couple of butane cannisters, a cigarette lighter adaptor and a fancy belt does not an international terrorist cell make. I can't see it affecting anything much other than making us slightly more Orwellian and increasing the number ...

We're not particularly terrified over here. A Half assed plot connived in a dingy Glasgow bedsit. Not international terrorisms finest hour, more a sad comment on the state of relations between our Asian section and the rest of our community.
