That reply was incorrect. Arrays in MT4 are indexed starting at 0 so if you actually want to access the (oldest) first order placed (most recent order is index 0) it's the total of orders minus 1. No magic or mystery just simple maths. Lux

The code looks like it's closing the oldest open order,which is why you see it's starting from OrdersTotal-1, and it's deleting the most recent pending order. I would imagine that this is part of the strategy of the EA. Lux

I looked at it really quickly on 1Min TF and it jumps around and repaints like crazy. Not sure how you can trade with such a thing to be honest. Lux

Learning C/C++ isn't really important for MT4 as it's more VB like (IMO) but MT5 is a different story. There a few good tutorials on the net. Also try the one in my sig for a basic introduction to see if EA programming is for you. Good luck Lux

The Orders array is a zero based array and the OrdersTotal is one based hence the need to subtract one. So the first order in the list is not Order(1) but Order(0). Make sense? Lux

The above assumes your on a 1 hour TF. If not use the iClose and iHigh functions and specify the TF like... iClose(NULL,Period_H1,1) iHigh(NULL,Period_H1, 2) Lux
