haha well spotted. Someone is awake and reading. I imagine its deutsche mark although I'm not even sure it's that tbh. But the point is, using USDGBP for example would also suffice. Just trying a different approach to eliminate "algo" to see what is ...

Hi mate, I don't work for a bank or anyone anymore. I have no firm view one way or the other really, in as much as my financial success does not depend on the outcome of this convesation. Here is what I see... natural price discovery. Just as we see ...

Final thing I wanted to say, do not believe that banks and hedge funds alway win, they get caught by moves in the markets just as much as we do. They are just as fallible as you and I, except we can move a hell of alot quicker than they can. We can ...

No worries TT. Just a discussion. To me price appears random between extremes (or highs and lows) but then you have to consider the affect of dark pools shown on the chart that retail do not have access too. These private exchanges hide the big ...

It seems hard to accept that there is a single algo controlling what is by nature a decentralised forex market. Each major currency has it's own central bank setting out policy and forecasts for it's currency in the worlds markets. Whether central ...

Hi TT, Yes I was answering the first question you asked " WHY the prices are so consistent across the various broker mt4 platforms around the globe". The world is a very competitive place, and I mean in EVERYTHING. There is almost always more than 1 ...

The answer is fairly straightforward. Banks, hedge funds and possibly even brokers run arbitrage against futures prices and each others spot pricing to ensure that any large deviations are corrected in a few microseconds. It is also liquidity ...

haha not like you to throw cow shit about in forums Digs, although I have to say you are really funny when you do. The guys icon says it all. I don't ignore anybody as a rule, but in this case I make an exception for him. Keep the dukes up buddy ...

I think I get what you are doing. A suggestion might be to take a partial loss on an instance in order to close several trades and replace them with one trade of a combined size, say 0.10 amounting to $-30. Sort of like a pressure release valve on ...

If he used Martingale in some of those instances I think he would be a fool. I don't think he's a fool. But he can answer what he does, if he wishes to reveal. I would think twice about doing that.

This is not how it looks to me:- 1. Trades are opened by EA, has to run all the time, basket add requirements might be in Asia, London or New York 2. Looks more like scaling/averaging to me, but not as Martingale (potentially would blow up). You ...

Dig, With what you are paying in commission alone, you should be thinking about setting up your own brokerage. You would recoup the cost of that inside a week with what you are saving on commission that you're paying to someone elses outfit. Give it ...

Yeah well done, I thought you would cover quickly and flip anyway. Working on my scrambling a bit before I take gold on, moves way too fast for my style. Brain and finger coordination don't work that quickly lol.

No problem buddy. If you're old school and want to do it manually, here's the way I do it. old TF mins / new TF mins * MA period e.g 1: render a 60min 200 ema on a 30 min chart = (60 / 30) = 2.0 * 200 period = 400 ema on a M30 chart e.g 2: render a ...
