That's an interesting point. In this case, given that is is an easily visualized 50 from the huge move from 8225 in a market that is searching for a bounce point, I think it was fair to use the 50 as a target here and as a catalyst to E/J. That's ...

Again more relevant to short holders on this thread, but I do see a change in the volume patterns accross both E/D and E/J supporting at least a pause. A dramatic reaction would not suprise me. Look at the longer term charts. An actioanble change in ...

Are we headed for another test of the TL in USDJPY? One can make a case for it. The MA 20 held things up once before; perhaps that fleeting knee jerk touch last week was not enough?

I agree with that. All one can really hope for is a nice quiet solidifying weekly inside bar. It appears that is on the horizon. I would prefer a close closer to the top of the weekly range, however, above the recent highs of 93.50

The continentals are interesting. They stand again at an entrance to the floodgates, but ranges are tight and volumes are low. Is it a trap? All I can say is that there is no sufficient daily PA to justify a trade against the short term trends I am ...

LOL - Remember those annual charts posted a while back? That's me! Perhaps a few too many annuals at this point though. Trend is critical as a foundation to any sustainable longer term trading plan. It' worth reviewing often.

That's where I stop you. You add so little to the forum. I assume that you have captured those 1000 pips? You may wish to consider how many pips some of your senior colleagues have captured long EUR or short U/CHF over the last decade. Leave him ...

[quote=Flem26;3705612] LOL - Nope but I sure do pay attention to those position statements (when they are true!) The thng that bothers me about the current structure is that it is a bit flaglike vis a vis a resumption of a downtrend. You may prove ...

[quote=golfer27;3705097 I presume you were present at your charts, at about 2.30 pm and for the next 20 mins. Are you alluding to the fact that you traded these moves? On what charts? Certainly not the timeframes studied on this thread. I'm just ...

Yes, AUD/JPY is the same thing, right off the trendline. The problem now, however, is a restest, so management is tough. It's one to learn from rather than to chase though, for most. I have decreased my focus to only 3-4 pairs.

We'll see. I've never been one to "git out now." We're a long way from 86.50. At the moment, I can only view this as an opportunity awaiting a supportive trigger. I have not chosen to reverse.
