The manual backtest of this shows it's a disaster, don't waste your time creating an EA for a crazy system which will not work. Why didn't the op do a years worth of backtesting before starting a thread on a system that's been posted lots of times ...

I've looked at the last 6 months on Eurusd and whilst the method is profitable the profit for this time all comes from within a very short period, approx 2 weeks, which was 31/8 - 15/9. If you look at a 1 day chart you'll see this was the steepest ...

Yes jake, you are correct. The dibs method is the easiest method I've ever seen, a five year old could pick out the trades. It seems to me it's a real traders method, but most people on here don't have the patience or mindset to use it properly, ...

Todays 2 EURUSD 1hr trades (large red arrows) both off of S & R zones, the sell trade off a clearly defined S & R line and the buy trade off the Support level defined by the 4HR SHI channel (for those that have them on their charts). The S & R gives ...

Yep but he's got the opening times 6 hours apart when they're actually 5 hours apart. I live in GMT but one of my brokers is 2 hours ahead and the other 1 hour, that works to my advantage because I get TWICE the amount of 4 hour and daily charts!

What about if the bar reverses before it's closed? It seems very few actually use the original rules anymore, it doesn't surprise me, I think the original claims were a bit exagerated.

Regarding the trade on the 15/11 at 11.00, do you not wait for the bar to complete before you take the trade? Especially as the bar before had crossed UP over the red line.

Are the rules/zip files in post 1 still relevant or have they changed? I see you don't use as many indicators now, is there an update on the system rules posted? Cheers

What settings should the envelopes be for higher TF's?, 1hr, 4hr etc. Using the same settings as 15min they become very narrow on the higher TF's.

How did your SL get hit? Looks like you had plenty of room on your chart. I wouldn't have taken the 4hr trade personally, the green line is heading into the base line, also price is entering area of S & R.

When the red and green are winding around each other it's best to keep out, when there is finally a break out wait for a nice steep angle and for it to move from the base line, don't worry about getting in on the TDI cross, in this instance taking ...

The trades you've shown seem to be on the bars where the histogram changes, yet you wouldn't know the histogram colour until that bar has closed.
