Ty, even if it were $1.70 a pip, on $9,000 capital that would still be risking 4-5% at my sl. That's not huge relative to risk, in my opinion.
- Bob_Loblaw replied Jan 13, 2014
It's $0.17 a pip mini lot. My money management is fantastic. I'm risking 4% of my account on every trade and compounding as I go. I've been doing extensive backtesting with my xo settings and am completely comfortable with my exposure.

Pips-a-piling!

Sorry Tnavi, I just meant hopefully we begin to trend long soon.
- Bob_Loblaw replied Jan 7, 2014
Hopefully we're bustin' out of this channel.

Just closed short and reversed. I got in a bit late since I didn't wake up in time for the new H4 bar. Good pips on the short, though. +389!

Yeah, I've been trying to figure out the T101 ea for the better part of a year and I still can't get it to do what I want. It's quite frustrating. I don't use it as a robot, but more to just handle the trades. I was sleeping ended up -150 on the ...

BE hit. Now I can have my morning Gin & Tonic
- Bob_Loblaw replied Jan 2, 2014
I actually use 1060 for M15, H1, and H4. I can get in and out of trades early and it worked pretty well for this latest one.
- Bob_Loblaw replied Jan 2, 2014
Now Short on H4. Got in this guy a bit early off of the M15 and H1. Almost to BE right now.

I think H4 is the perfect tf. The best part is the low stress from not needing to be glued to my charts. Just check every 4 hours and assess. It's Awesome sauce!

Yes sir, Ty. The trend is my friend and XO is my friend with benefits. We've done the nasty in the pasty.
- Bob_Loblaw replied Dec 31, 2013
Currently +350 on the latest trade. It was a re-entry on H1
- Bob_Loblaw replied Dec 30, 2013
I find that my FXPro chart is vastly different from my live IBFX chart. I suppose it's not a crazy big difference, but I like the H4 bars quite a bit better on FXPro.

I must say, I'm always torn between going 12-2 or 14-0. The Chfs can be your buddy or punch you in the junk. image

I think you should be using the arrows as a guide. The real meat (at least for me) is entering and exiting on the XO change.
- Bob_Loblaw replied Apr 30, 2013
I'm still short at the moment, tnavi.
- Bob_Loblaw replied Apr 30, 2013
Yeah I hope I didn't too. The backtest results were great though. I've already got in 2 trades forward testing. The first was on the 2/3/2/4 has change to blue. I just barely squeaked out BE on that one. I then entered short on the change to red. I ...

So, I just finished a back-test for a H4 Method I've been working on. I must say the results are absolutely stellar! Sept 19 to Apr 29 73 total trades 3 trades hit full -560 stop loss 2 trades in loss before changing trade direction (total of -370 ...
