So basically we're on our own, along with our own personal SL/TP. Great. I'm sort of hoping it dips down to 180....and then right as I write this, it happend o.o

Well, it almost reached 180.725 before dawdling around at 180.5. IF there is a short selling going on, when to you think the shorting will stop?

The yen is seems to have gotten into trading again after trading back and forth a few pips at the 108.760 mark. We're finally moving up at around 108.8-ish levels, and we're seeing an upward movement in the past few hours....wonder if it'll have ...

Does that mean you're considering a few longs beyond 110? If so, will you at least wait and see if you can short a potential retracement after the USD/JPY hits 110?

So...adjust SL to BE and keep going? (I'm eager to wait for 110, but we know what happens when we begin to just hope instead of think).

Should I stop my 1 lot long from 108.6 at 109? I'm pretty sure the market will go up to 110 after this correction, but.....

USD/JPY went down to 106.845; nearly a 300 pip movement downwards in the past 30 minutes. Good place for short term scalping, but extremely risky to hold onto. Question: will this open up an even bigger reversal to 106.5 levels? Once that mark is ...

Why not possibly both? We all know that since the breach to the 169 level today, we're likely going to see either a stalled USD/JPY or a movement down by a few hundred pips more in the short term (my definition of short term=this week). This moment ...

Right, so right now we're seeing almost no discernible changes in the USD/JPY price in the past hour (around 170.70-170.90), and the prices remained relatively constant for even longer. Usually this calls for a intraday paradigm shift; a veritable ...

Oh well. I suppose I'll simply stay glued to my screen for the next few hours until the market closes. .....least I earned money instead of losing it by intra-trading on this wild day. Still, does anyone think the USD/JPY will breach the 107.4 mark?

Then I wonder....should I close off all remaining positions by end of Friday, or should I consider holding onto them until sunday afternoon? My guess based on the current trend is that we'll still probably hit 108 before any significant reversals ...

Huh. I sold my positions and made a profit, but now I'm left wondering-why is the USD/JPY declining so much when we'e had 3 consecutive high value events in favor of the US dollar? I'd understand if the currency pair shot past 170.4 and then came ...

Seeing as how I rarely hold currencies for more than a few days or a week, I won't claim to understand the long term debate. But What I don't understand is people letting this great short-term opportunity to slip by; had you purchased around 5-10 ...

I refuse to speculate in the coming weeks, but as an intraday trader, I can safely say that we're in for decent profit. The 3 key factors of the USD-core retail m/m, core retail, and preliminary consumer sentiments are all performing above ...
