ZURICH, Dec 6 (Reuters) - The Swiss National Bank's foreign exchange reserves dropped in November due to the expiry of foreign exchange swaps and repo transactions in foreign currencies, a spokesman for the central bank said on Tuesday.
The Swiss National Bank's foreign currency reserves fell to 229.278 billion Swiss francs in November from 245.036 billion francs in October, according to preliminary data provided to the International Monetary Fund. [
The SNB has been using foreign exchange swaps and other measures to boost liquidity in the money market to weaken the franc.
