Hi, I've got a number of MT5 accounts from different brokers and use a trade copier to trade from my master to slave accounts. The trade copier is an EA that runs in each MT5 terminal. I'm considering placing all this on a VPS because I've got relatively large pings i.e. 350-400ms. Also, I mostly scalp (small lot sizes) so I need to manually interact with the master account to execute trades.
I guess I'd need to be logged into the VPS via Remote Desktop, or some other RDP client, to manually set off trades via the MT5 master terminal. Or maybe I could connect to my master account via MT5 mobile (or a local install of MT5 on my home PC), but I'm not sure if trades would be copied to the slave account on the VPS if done this way i.e. trades are only copied if interacting wit the master MT5 terminal directly? I suppose one limiting factor would be any latency with my mouse click (trade executions) within the VPS RDP session; or between MT5 mobile (or local install of MT5 at home) to the VPS server (if this is possible).
Any insights would be fantastic.
