Dislikedhi niks! thanks for the warm welcome! i never realised how much fun trading could be, especially counter-trend scalping - the danger is part of the fun I reckon, going into terrifying drawdown is quite something. quick question, I've noticed you quite often exit trades earlier than the rest of the batch, like in the first bunch of trades in your screenprint above when price crossed the 200. why do you do that?Ignored
exiting positions earlier than the rest within a batch is purely for risk management, the less positions open the less risk, the sooner i can take profits, the sooner i take them, but then i like to give every trade as much room as possible for maximum potential so will sometimes let a few run a bit longer - at this point they will either hit their targets, or miss them and then pullback for a refill opportunity and then hit the targets, or they will reverse, but with less positions than when i started making it easier to manage the drawdown, hope that helps...
