DislikedSo far your EA works great on IBFX and MB Trading.
Lets see if that grows to over half a million in the next 6 months like in the backtest. Orders are placed just the way they should. Little difference on
MB Trading. Due to smaller spread you often get more open order than on IBFX.

Now how much you make only depends on your MM:
For maximum profits I used
MM = 1
Risk = 20
Account = 1
Tested on a MiniAccount MT4. With 1000 USD it will start with 0.2 Minis.

DislikedOne problem is that the MM Feature is not really efficient.
If you have a Balance of 1000 USD with Risk 20 and Account = 1 it trades 0.2 Lots if you make 2 USD profit the next trade will be with 0.3 Lots because it rounds to 2000 USD balance. So only every 1k in you account it will change the position size. Especially when you start low it will take alot of trades to reach the next 1k and untill then you will only get linear growth. With time and increasing balance your profits per trade will get big enough that you get a new position size every...Ignored
DislikedWhy didn't I come up with this?
Of course 200 on micro is 20 on mini.
Gives me lower DD on backtests aswell and real exponential growth!Ignored
DislikedIs anyone using an EA that limits the trade to the size of the spread? In other words it doesnt trade unless the spread is less than 15 or what ever you set it at. Has any one been using it and what results so far??Ignored

Dislikedalso one thing I found out, if you place spread protection in the EA with low limit, it will not work on the backtester. Seems to me that the backtester assumes a fixed spread, which is around 22-23 pips on InterbankFX for example, so with a limit < 22 it will not open any trades in the backtester.Ignored
DislikedI'm pretty sure the backtest uses the current spread on the pair. At close the pair spread was 23 on IBFX... so i don't know if you have just been running this backtests during market close or not. I know it kind of sucks and makes it hard to backtest over the weekend with a 23 pip spread you really can see how much a high spread eats away at the profits.Ignored
