DislikedI did not take this but just saw it on the euraud broke the trend line on 1hr and had a pullback on 15minIgnored
DislikedYes that I looked at that and there was just no clean entry point. SO when in doubt stay out. By the time the pbc was completed it was so close to the ADR it was pretty risky imo..

Dislikedyes the pull back was far into the trend line on news i think so it would have been hard to use the swing as a stop you would have had to just place stop above trend line and i do not trade news.Ignored
DislikedYes until the dust settles and things get back to normal then we will see where things sit a lot better...

Dislikedi always have problem seeing the entry points. either i enter too late. or too early. hmm.. after seeing hectors vids. can i ask how many kind of reversals do we look out in the various retracement.
we look out for these in the triggering chart.
there is the M or W and the HnS reversal. for this two reversal we enter at the neckline or after the RN. am i right? this usually happen when there is a retracement trend.

DislikedInteresting post Custos, thanks. I've seen others refer to varying position size based on numerous factors and I'd really like to give it a try. My problem is that currently MM dictates that I can't trade more than 3 contracts concurrently which means the minimum I can reduce my position size by is 33%. To reduce position size by 1% you must be trading massive size (100 contracts plus) or adjusting risk by reducing stop sizes perhaps? Am I misunderstanding something here?
Thanks,

DislikedMaybe another thing which is important for determining your lot size. Look into the higher time-frames (M1, W1, D1), are they in a congestion area? Did they reach a S-R level? Or is there no S/R level in the vinicity?
Is the current trend in accordance with the higher timeframe trend? Is there a higher time frame trend at all?
In any case, if I see that on M1, W1 & D1 there is no S/R level near current price and that the lower time-frame trend is in accordance with the higher time-frame trend, then you can bet that I will choose a higher lot...Ignored

DislikedI'm on mini lots already Custos. I would have the option of moving to micro which would let me reduce size in chunks of 3% but I've heard bad things about micro and don't really want to go there. Nice idea though. Maybe one day!Ignored
