DislikedHello guys,
I just backtested this system for 2009 using Dukascopy's historical tick data (99% modeling quality) and results are little worse than expected...
I tested both geoffb's and Steve's EAs with default settings using different start_hour:
- 22:00 (NY close),
- 23:00 (NY close +1),
- 00:00 (NY close +2, Tokyo open),
- 01:00 (NY close +3, Tokyo open +1).
Also, for anyone testing geoffb's EA, please set "Show_Settings" to "false", otherwise this EA takes 3 seconds naps once in a while, which results in unnecessary...Ignored
DislikedAre you still wanting to go with 2 entries and a quick TP on one or just a single stab and ride it?Ignored
DislikedJust came across your thread and I really like the simplicity, I'd rather not use the EA especially since it's simple to enter the order yourself but I'm going to check out some back tests.Ignored
DislikedStrange thing is that when I back test using v2, it opens 2 trades as it's suppose to. Today I went live and it only opened 1 trade. Any ideas?
thx
