Dislikedive been following the thread and im very impressed with the trades youve posted.... but i have a question....using this method will each major swing, on each timeframe, end with a 38.2 completion if the fib is placed properply?Ignored
DislikedI never adressed how i knew UCHF was going short... the blue fib using 61.8 triggered at the first blue box... letting us know we were short. The black fib set up after price retraced past the original 61.8 then Pierced... the retraced to the moon... my rule is if it pierces before the 61.8 is broken... it will still complete as long as it looks right. If the 61.8 it broken with no pierce mate... reset and track again.

DislikedTalking of fibs within fibs, I have a larger black fib off the low which is triggered long but as Thom said dragging it's heels. As this is triggered I felt happy placing a smaller fib inside tracking long. See how price is bouncing between the red fib and the black fib.

MD.
EDIT: Thom, I just noticed that candle setup boxed in the middle there eh?Ignored
DislikedI didnt find this before hand mate but found it using a fib style i know to describe that move... we are long but until i see a long set up we are short... my trade is from early days in this move though so i have cushioning. Again all something like this can tell me is look to go short in a long from this chart.

EDIT... then if i am digging in i look for a long since it "appears" the short may be finished. A retrace after that big move up though is not unheard of chuckle. Also how do i make my charts look crisper?? my charts are bollocks...Ignored
DislikedYou're charts are less zoomed in than mine plus if I click on yours to open them in a new browser window they look fine. Other than that it is your old eyes or knowing you being scottish you've had a wee dram too many and everything looks blurry, but hell who cares because I've had a couple of drams myself, so bottoms up and good health to you Thom you damn jock!

DislikedA "jock" is a knickname for a Scotsman here. Maybe I am mistaken.

DislikedJeez, I think I got carried away with the old fire water last night. Thom that AUD weekly chart you post was respected, triggered and more than completed in the past. How would you treat it now. It has re-respected the 61.8, would you look for a new pierce of the 0 before trading it again?
MD.Ignored
Dislikedthank you for the response..one other question if you dont mind...lets say you have a down trend , can you use a 61.8 confirmaton on the left side of your pick point ( as you did in the 15M chart you posted of the AU)?Ignored
DislikedLook like our tamed beast is about to complete. Easy peezy. Skunny may be the best kept secret in all of trading... truly a gem of a gent.

Edit still a gem but it is time for me to retire. into my cup an trade calling is a fools errand.Ignored
