Whilst I am doing thingy's, one for matrixebiz. Did you ask for another variant of Recovery recently? Or am I dreaming?

DislikedOne might use the wonderful touch-thingy with an aggressive MPTM hedge to fire off where the SL might have been, to include Close-at-Breakeven and hedge-the- hedge. This would obviate the need for a standard recovery, and prevent trades that last for weeks, tying up money and creating anxiety. One could have balls of rubber, rather than balls of steel. DislikedThanks..I have put a bunch of print statements in the program and I have commented out the return on ticketno. I'm going to see how this thing is really working....I will report back on what the prints tell me.Ignored
DislikedHi Steve,
I don't if this would happen for everyone, but this code was bouncing me out also.
if (OBJPROP_COLOR != RecoveryStopLossLineColour) return;
When I changed it to this. I was fine:
if (ObjectGet(breakevenlinename, OBJPROP_COLOR) != RecoveryStopLossLineColour) return;Ignored
DislikedTCO, I had forgotten that once set, an object's colour cannot be changed. The solution is to delete the object and re-create it using the new colour.
The attached appears to be working.

DislikedHi Steve,
At least recovery is working like it did before. I still don't think the candle TS is working correctly for recovery. It seems to be closing the trade all the time on the first bar that touches the breakevenline after the red line has been established. I keep looking at it. I think we are getting close. TCOIgnored
DislikedGreat on the pippo recovery. I like it.
Tiny screen glitches: turn recovery off/still displays as on.
MPTM: enter loss pips hedge at 1000 for five digit crim/ displays 10000.Ignored
DislikedThis is what a call a smackdown :|
This is a case where the recovery trailing stop should help.
The case is gbpjpy and i was in recovery, close trade was set to be+20 (greedy me).
Look at the screen and cry.. tp missed for 2 pips :|
With the TS now i will have a be+10 in my pocket..
Another idea that can be implemented instead of the candlestick trail is just a trailing stop X pips behind the price.
So after be+10 or what you choose, the beast can trail the recovery with a last candle low OR with a -X pips (maybe 10, so after recovery is...Ignored

DislikedI'm having a problem at the moment with TOB.
I have it live but the volatility and re-entry is not correct. I thought I had this version from a while back but obviously not. I am worried about changing it on my live account until I know for sure I've got the right one.
So can someone post the volatility/re-entry corrected version from before the 'Candle Ts' ? or is the latest update with the 'Candle Ts' OK to use with the Candle Ts left off ?
My Brain Hurts
