Your kind comments, and offers of donations, are greatly appreciated; many thanks.
No donations are necessary; I don't expect to be paid by those who have contributed their valuable time and ideas to VO-Pro.
It would seem that the notion that VO-Pro offers value is contestable. I see that 3 out of 6 voters rate this thread as "terrible", which I feel has vindicated my decision to permanently withdraw VO-Pro from Forex Factory. (I would point...Ignored
It seems Forex in particular attracts a lot of "casual" traders who don't take trading as a serious business/profession. I think the high leverage and small deposits needed to open an account is a big part of this. With stock trading it's more common to find people with $25,000 due to the pattern day-trading rule and low leverage.
As someone who use to participate in forums for many years, including: Forex Factory, EliteTrader, Trade2Win, MoneyTec and many others, it wouldn't surprise me too much if you find this attitude on most forums. One thing that is worth mentioning however, there are forums that have 20,000+ people that pay for membership in the forum. I've been part of one (can't recall the name right now) that was full of professional traders. As you can imagine someone with a "something for nothing" attitude would never join this forum. I think you may be able to find a higher quality group of traders like this to showcase your product.
One last point... Speaking with a lot of brokers literally 5 out of every 6 Forex accounts created within 6 months will be closed. With these kinds of statistics I think it really shows the bulk of people trading these accounts aren't serious about trading - so I wouldn't feel too bad about things.
All the best Hanover...
