DislikedHello guys/gals, I just want to say hi and thank a few forum members in particular for keeping me inspired to keep going on my trading journey. I have only posted on the TMS thread 7 times in the past but I do read it thoroughly every week and constantly get inspired to keep working at learning more and more about myself and the markets. I am not completely new to trading, I have traded live accounts in the past using other systems with less than impressive results. I count long-term break-even as less than impressive as its not a good representation...Ignored
DislikedI've been reading and taking notes on this thread for a period of time. However one thing still intrigues me. Using the aggressive (normal) method, we enter on the on the beginning of the candle when the TDI crosses. This is after taking into account the recent S/R, trend etc. Thing is, how do we know the candle wouldn't retrace so it ends up making a hook instead? I've attached a picture for example. In the trade in the picture, the TDI did cross, made some decent pips. I blacked out the area and is now left to show what the trader sees when he...Ignored

Disliked{quote} alfis: I love such kind of chart practice. See my comments made on your chart below. {image} additional comments: Take note of those small candles. I am sure if you place the 5SMMA PAC on your chart, these candles are trapped within the PAC. So far as TMS 4H trade entry and exit rules, we should be prepared to exit when the TDI goes flat or hook back. This is how Big E trades, he cut his position very quickly like what many scalpers would do. Trade Well. EMMANUELIgnored
Disliked{quote} We don't "know" anything its a probabilities game, taking everything into account including the higher timeframes is it likely to go the way we think...thats all we can do. As far as backtesting goes, if you use the one I have attached it locks in where the tdi red and green lines were when the candle closed so you will see exactly what it looked like at the time. Set the timeframe to the one you want to see. {file}Ignored
DislikedI usually stay away from market on Friday evening. But the setup was there to close the week with few pips. Enter on TDI bounce and price momentum. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} {quote} sfg7th, blamshakk: You two 'naughty boys' talking about Synergy-Pro. You will sent to stand in the naughty corner soon.TMS 4H trading is aggressive entry and to me that is early entry. Entry rule is simple, TDI cross and APB change colour and we enter on candle #1 and #2. After candle #3, we do not chase after the market. The best entry is when APB change colour and candle#1 break out of the H4 PAC with a TDI 12-2 or 4-6 or cross as setup confirmation. Don't believe me? ... just keep a clean chart with just TDI, APB and...

Disliked{quote} "my main point in bring up the market type is to get traders attention here that they should know why some of their trades will fail when they simply trade TDI crosses...There are basically two market type where TMS 4H will work well. 1) Trending market - both bull and bear markets, and can be narrow range trending or wide range trending. 2) Sideways - Wide Ranging.....I am open to discussion here but it is far lacking interest as I see the number of post responses."Ignored
