DislikedMoney Management Strategy for TMS Reading recent posts, there are a few questions which I think are related to money management strategy used in trading TMS. Most traders here trades with fix lot size and do not use position sizing with percentage risk of equity. Whether you are trading just for few dollars, or to supplement your full time job, or to grow an account, etc. you need to consider what your money management strategy work best for your business. I posted one of my account using myfxbook to show you that trading...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I noticed that he said Dean Malone uses shift=1, but I thought SJ said he uses shift=2 and in reviewing some of his previous posts, I even found shift=3 mentioned {quote} Let me post a graphic from my trading platform. It is not MT, so it will look a little different: {image} The top TDI is associated with the price structure of the HA candles, the bottom TDI with the price structure of the OHLC candles. Because some of the internal price structure of the HA candle is derived, the structure is slightly different. I did a comparison of...Ignored

Are there still many original traders on here from when the thread started? Thanks very much guys...Ignored

Panel Ratio - Strength / weakness of higher / lower ratio ... when is the best time to trade with this parameter ... higher ratio or lower ratio ... 2. same doubt on TDI red angle .... 3. Same doubt on TDI separation .... how to determine...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi steadyrandy, very interesting question! First there is a diffidence b/w the values of OHLC (normal candles) and HA_OHLC - so, clearly attaching the TDI to either will produce different results. Notice the HA_OHLC chart is 'smoother' - we expect this cause the HA candle is formed from averages from OHLC. Normally, the TDI (there are many versions granted) on MT4 (at least) attaches to the OHLC via the RSI but this can be changed. I must say (for our recent noobs), from my readings of the TDI, that it doesnt really matter that much which...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Happy New Year and happy trading to all. Agree with you GS, in fact, I don't know which version of TDI I am using on my charts (if you asked me, I would be jumping up and down in confusion)Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks emmanuel7788 & SJ for all your posts on MM - something that i wanted to start to sort out in the NY. I guess MM is such a personal thing to sort out and fit into your trading plan. The way i see it is we have senior traders with various and diverse MM strategies - this is good news for us noobs The idea is simply to attached yourself to the trader who you can easily identify with and form a MM plan supported by their mentor-ship. For me this is Phx62 (see paperclip for his journal examples) - i say this because his approach feels...Ignored
