DislikedHi guys, I'm sorry to ask the following question as I am sure it will probably have been answered here somewhere. In terms of entering and exiting the trade on the TDI cross and flatten/hook back respectively - do you wait for these events to have occurred on the closed candle or do you do it as soon as it happens - regardless of whether the candle has closed or not? Thanks in advance.Ignored
As far as entries are concerned, I never pull the trigger until the APB has closed. You can easily get a reversal in the last few minutes. For exits you should have your own exit rules that match your trading style. You should also have a "If Then" rule for every indicator on your chart. If you don't the indi is just wasting space. For example I trade mainly H1 and use the PAC. If I'm in a trade and the APB closes inside the PAC, my rule is "If APB closes inside the PAC Then check M15 APB color, If M15 APB has changed color Then exit". This is quite an aggressive exit strategy but suites my style. A less aggressive strategy might be "If on APB close TDI has flattened/hooked Then exit"
You need to find a strategy that you are comfortable with and can repeat.
Hope this helps
