DislikedHi Forexhard! I'm new on this thread. I find your trading methodology really interesting. So far I could read the posts only up to page 70 and I've two questions I would like to ask you. I hope it was not answered later in the thread.
I could understand that you take a trade on the close of the second successive bar closing above the upper buffer or below down buffer.
And also the breakout bar should be smaller than 15 pips.
1) Do you still enter a trade if the second bar is already closing quite far from the box?

DislikedHi everyone.
I am a very quiet in this forums. However I have followed this system for quite a while and found it very suitable for me.
This morning on Eur/USD I got a buy signal, however price came back and Hedge it to protect losses. This is something important specially in such news days.
Thanks to the author and all developers for such a great generosity with their knowledge.Ignored

DislikedHi Larry,
That trade is not so much according to the SSBO rules I think. It is more like news trade, having in mind the Big Ben testimones at 17 00. Am I correct or m I missing something of FX Hards' rules.

DislikedI'm testing this methodology but I have many losses and I'm far from trading it profitably. When it goes well I win 25 pips and when it goes wrong, I'm losing at least 37 pips. Only to check, I visually backtested the strategy since the 23th of May 2012 and there are as many winning trades than there are losing trades, and as the losing trades are bigger, the result is not positive.
Did I miss some filters indicating when we should take a trade or not?Ignored
Dislikeddryclean, what did you do with the losing trade before? There was first a long entry, but price went then back down through the bottom of the box triggering a stoploss.
I made 25 pips on the second trade, but I've lost more than 37 on the first one.Ignored
Disliked@ Mr Pippy...
What you have to keep in mind as you read through, is that this thread started as a naked trading system. All the trade boxes were hand drawn at the start. Which only changed when Squalou volunteered to make the indicator. Which means that even I had to learn my own way around the indicator, since it was just as new to me as it was to everyone else. So if you see me using a different setting on page #120 than I was using on page #80, that's me refining my own personal indi settings and templates, etc., same as I recommend that everyone...Ignored
