You do about the same as I do but I do it on smaller time frames and with some differences.
I try to always enter on PA confirmation (or if I think I will have PA confirmation). If for example I want to trade 1 lot I enter with 1/3 or 1/2 then I scale in up to 1 lot (sometimes more). The thing that is different is that I never scale in unless I'm in profit I either let the trade come back first or cut it (depending on risk).

DislikedCandle PA on the smaller TF's is the first signal which is further confirmed by candle PA on the subsequent larger TFs. One of my favorite methods is to wait for a confirmed swing high on a H1 or H4 and then zoom down to an M5 or M1 and pick a swing high with a fib tool (pick the 61.8% retrace upwards of a wave down confirmed by a pin bar and short from there.
