Please help code this indicator for me, as I don't think what I have in mind exists.
The indicator would plot (preferably on a histogram) how many TIMES higher or lower the CCI value is on the current or last closed bar relative to the previous bar.
If the current bar has a lower CCI value than the previous bar, then the histogram would paint itself below the zero-line and give us a negative value, and of course the reverse if the CCI value is higher.
The levels would be 3, 2, 1, .75, .5, .25, 0, -.25, -.5, -.75, -1, -2, -3, and be marked by optional horizontal lines. It would also help for extra visual guidance if the histogram changes color for every level it passes, preferably in a spectral order or customizable in the settings.
Note: This would be a separate indicator, as I think there would be too much clutter if it shared the same window with a CCI.
If you would be so kind and help me out, I would be forever in your debt. Any takers?
