Disliked{quote} I hope to be there with you....via a bit of two way plundering ....Ignored
DislikedExcellent work everyone. I'm working on getting short at the moment. The market will likely take the stops out above this last drive up. Then it'll go back to < 2.1 as we approach Thursday. I'd be surprised to see this driven up much more when the market is trading blindly. My short target will be 2.0950. I'm looking for a pin bar that touches 2.115. Patience.Ignored

Disliked{quote} That would be nice, but the last two US sessions have failed to break above the European morning's highs.....TWTIgnored
DislikedWell, one platform says we made it to 2.1142, the other 2.1137. Close enough, looks like it's getting pinned down as we are so late in the hour. Asia can help run this down later, if NY doesn't do it. Then London will shrink spreads for profit taking purposes.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Islander, do you have a Bloomberg terminal? For some reason I recalled you were setup with it. If so, what high price did you see last hour?Ignored
Disliked{quote} No - just MT4 for this contract as my main system has silly spreads. I have 11379 from one and 11385 from another - both live accounts....Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thank you, Sir. Looks like they might touch 2.115 on my chart afterall. TWT.Ignored
DislikedDaily set up looks pretty bullish ahead of Fed Minutes tomorrow and Turkish Central Bank on May 22. US rates are still pretty tame. I am treating my short TRY and ZAR as long rates volatility trades, if US rates start to move up I think there is significant flows to come out of these higher yielding carry trades that have been pretty popular for the past 6 wks or so. Watching 2 year treasury yields closely. {image}Ignored
DislikedAs we approach Thursday I'm still eyeballing 2.10 as an on the fence price. Inflation data in Turkey clearly favors holding rates steady, we are dealing with the possibility of a political move which may not happen. 2.12 will be an interesting barrier to watch. I'm cautious here as the market feels fidgety to me, we could see some irrational volatility, anything could happen. I think a move back to 2.10 would be somewhat slow and measured, but if we see frenzied unwinding I would not be surprised to see 2.15. All that to say, be careful today!...Ignored
DislikedAs everyone has noticed I often think, rethink and then rethink again my view of the market. I suppose this is how it should be, we are always getting new information and price itself has a way of giving a feel to information and sentiment.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I think this is the way to go with ever changing dynamics and parameters in the market. Today I will be mostly watching USDTRY instead of trading it.Ignored
Disliked{quote} GM - I have just taken a small buy off the post LO push down to the BRN. During the past few hours there has been plenty of volume / activity a little above The Level so I am just looking for a 38% retace to ~ the next BRN......TWTIgnored
