DislikedJust found out that forex prices move during the weekend too. http://www.xe.com has the prices updated every 60 seconds, and eurusd is sitting at 1.5433 right now.Ignored
DislikedNo, it does not move during the weekend. The one you quoted is mid-market rates. When there is no market, where can one trade?!
It stays at 1.54331 and does not move even I just checked.

If you go to another sub-link in the same XE,
http://www.xe.com/currencytrading/?A...w.xe.com/&menu
It shows, 1.5481/3 that is our Trading rate. Not the mid-market rate traded interBank.Ignored
DislikedJust found out that forex prices move during the weekend too. http://www.xe.com has the prices updated every 60 seconds, and eurusd is sitting at 1.5433 right now. Should the weekend price movements be taken into considering and will Monday's open based on what happened over the weekend? What's your take on eurusd as to its direction Monday morning?Ignored
DislikedWell that information was just given to me by ppl on the eurusd thread. They say the forex market never closes, only slows down over the weekend. Oanda administrator has also told me that their trading platform is open even on the weekend. I notice that xe.com's prices change from time to time over the weekend. What does that mean?Ignored
QuoteDislikedWhy Currency Trading Is Not For Everyone?
Trading foreign exchange on margin carries a high level of risk, and may not be suitable for everyone. Before deciding to trade foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. Remember, you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment, which means that you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. If you have any doubts, it is advisable to seek advice from an independent financial advisor.

DislikedFOREX market never close... still fluctuate over the weekend. Only RETAILERS / BROKERS close. Last time during the G7 report... I noticed it did changed a lot over the weekend. Some Brokers... can trade 24/7. However... over the weekends... not much volume/volatility... price rarely change unless VERY IMPORTANT thing happen. That's why we see GAP on Monday... sometimes.
This is from my own understanding. Do more research and reading regarding this matters and feel free to share it over here. So that we all learn.Ignored
DislikedI am sorry - there are two yellow lines in the eurusd chart. Are you projecting the pair to go up or down to hit the top or the bottom yellow line? Thanks.Ignored
