Disliked{quote} OK Joe - what are you doing with your charts. That second chart image is not correct. It should be showing the SAR on top and the DB on the bottom. And don't post me some long excuses. You need to get your charts right and be sure it is exactly the same as Pandakker chart he had posted above.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yes I do. Still reading through the thread and plan on reading it again maybe a couple more times. I also have pages and pages of notes from before.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I also observed what Joe posted as I was in front on the screen watching it happen. The SAR was attached at the top at 125.857, but when the market got below 125.335 to bring out the Hidden Divergence it detached from the top and connected with DB. Then it would reattach again at the top when the market got above the SAR low at 125.335, and then detach again if it went below that low. Saw it detach and attach about 3 times before finally closing above the previous SAR low, attaching at the top.Ignored

DislikedIf I may share these screens shots for those wondering what just happened. These shots taken mid bar in the moment things were happening. This is very clearly shown in Dana's tute these past weeks. I hope this helps. If it doesn't; then perhaps try using the sim over the weekend. {image} {image}Ignored
DislikedI did see the slamming of the H1 fib at Sydney open. But I didn't know why, now I understand better! very interesting about the banks. I like to think I speak for everyone in saying how much we appreciate your time here with us. THANK YOU for all your great postings and hard work. You're a good hearted person Dana! The world needs more people like you. I have a question and if you dont want to reply I would understand. It has to do with the new high/low in ranging. Ill post a screenshot with arrows to help. If my understanding is correct -Arrow...Ignored
Disliked{quote} There are three types of ranging: 1 - ranging higher/high 2 - ranging lower/low 3 - ranging sideways All three ranging is with both the DB and SAR attaching on top and bottom with the DB on top of the SAR. The ranging always begin when the SAR breaks loose from the DB with a connection; then returns with the DB, and the next move with the DB on top of the SAR connection begins the ranging. Your Picture above is not in a ranging mode. but is moving off the visual support and resistance. Thank you for your comments and I hope this helps you....Ignored
Disliked{quote} Ok so is arrows 2 and 4 the new top resistance then as ranging was not confirmed with the DB?? And yes it does help Thanks again!Ignored
DislikedI have a question regarding the word "variables" and "scenarios". The word "variable" was used in what I think were different contexts. First I thought the variables are three: support, resistance and trend. I also understand this in the sense that variables are the indicators themselves, which ARE (represent) support resistance. Recently it has been mentioned the variables are Short Trend, Long Trend, Consolidation and Ranging. And one can not use the rules for the short trend in a long trend variable for example. I would be happy if anybody knows...Ignored
