On a 1 min chart when the volatility is good, you should see legs of the main trend give you 1-3 moments of 1-3 opposing bar closes before they continue. When you get straight up moves with all green bars or straight down moves with all red bars, I get very wary of sharper pullbacks (easy up / easy down kinda thing).
