DislikedI was, am in the USD/JPY from the open of the day. The range was bloody tough but the breakout was strong and worth the wait. I netted 90 pips on half my trade and the other half can only travel back to my open point. It is left up to the market now whether it will bounce back after the little retrace, which as I speak is about 50%, a bounce of dynamic resistance (20 EMA) and is a Pin/Doji on the hourly. Could head higher time will tell but the daily and weekly ranging of some pairs could mean it will come back and be a pain in the arse.

DislikedTurns out, the best breakout trade for today should be the USDJPY long trade, which I suppose to enter, but I wasn't at my computer at that moment.Ignored
DislikedWe have another great breakout opportunity. Inside bar followed by inside bar... BOTH straddle the open (12:00CT). On a PPZ and round number (in my book anyway). Wonder what Dale would say about this...
Have a demo trade long yet from yesterday, as shown. Stopped out on first DIB today (long).
Will watch for break higher...

PS: Not sure why my DIBS_TriggerLines1.2 isn't working properly...maybe a bug in it. There should be a horizontal line at the top of the last two bars...Ignored
DislikedHi matt, well i can only tell you why i didn't take it. if you zoom out a little on your chart you'll see we've been trending (see pink lines) so i wouldn't be looking short just yet for other reasons not related to dibs (but many would).
it wasn't a bad trade matt just one of those things... move on buddy :o)

DislikedHi Josh,
Great to see you posting and running with DIBS. I was out most of the day and missed most of the action.
Should be back to full speed tomorrow. Although i see the markets consolidating in anticipation of the news coming out at the end of the week.

DislikedHi Zuret,
Looking forward for your DIBS trade.
I'm curious after reading TheRealThing's blog, could this DIBS method we trade right now has any similarities to his so-called London Squeeze? I thought maybe London Squeeze is looking for IBs in the 4H TF, maybe with a little ruleset change, but it has been backtested only within 8 years of data, while DIBS like PeterCrown said, has been there for almost 2 decades.
