id like to hear your lot opinions on this topic, how long do you think retail traders will be bale to "access the market"?
Its been dawning on me lately, with all the crypto stuff kicking off and when WSB were fucking hedges funds over a month or two ago..
Everyone I know nowadays who is new goes down the funding route, which I totally understand why, but I never see the question what's the longevity of it, would regulations change, would it be banned across countries. Retail doesn't take up a huge % of market movement in cfd we know this but it is possible at a time in even the next decade or so we will be removed from being able to trade the exchange? and it be left to the big dogs at the banks.
But there is also the fact of the liquidity we bring to the table for the banks, being able to take advantage of the newcomers, brokerages and there fees, the education side (which I don't really wanna give the light of day to) etc
as its the saying of the triple 9 - 90% of traders lose 90% of their capital in 90 days.
from thousands if not 10 of thousands of people just chucking their money away to the next guy due to the lack of knowledge and skill they hold at that point
been watching over FF now for a couple years, seen people come and go, from good to bad
for me im sorted, fx has brung me a much more healthy and wealthy life, buy cool things, help family and live without pressures, but I love it, I don't wanna stop, im 20, I want to do a lot more ya know
and I don't wanna find out in x many years I gotta get a job at hedge fund to still do what I love.
hey I may have to found my own.
would love to hear from you lot
