DislikedI read 2 books by Jenkins, I understood his definition of vector, but I didn't find how he chooses swings, is there some kind of rule? I post this graph to better understand my question, for the definition of swings I normally use gann bar counting (up bar down bar, inside bar outside bar), now in my graph which of the two lines is to be taken into consideration for Jenkins?{image}Ignored
I'm not sure Jenkins does - I think its just based on price movement causes the swing/vector
In your chart you have a minor and a major swing, both work - it creates a Gann secondary reaction, Elliott Wave 12345A, Double/Triple Bottoms etc etc - you can use the vectors as "Measured Moves" too
I use a !ZIGZAG" line over price as you have done in your chart and I set mine at various % depending on the market - I do this to see swings and patterns etc
