DislikedCurrently working on a way of accurately establishing S/R levels in Fxdreema, the maths gets pretty full-on but have managed to work out most problems with it so far, something quite satisfying about creating an EA which does what you want, if only to see your new boat purchase/retirement plans go down in flames when you back test it and it goes tits-up after 5 years . The other side of the coin is when the EAs dispell many of the entrenched dogmas promoted by brokers etc. All good fun.Ignored

Disliked{quote} the ea creation and testing path is pretty fun if you enjoy it, are you moving into something else more traditional with this ea? {image}Ignored

DislikedJust seen the individual arguing on the other thread re random markets, people are free to think what they want but I don't think anything hamstrings traders more than the inabilty to accept they may be wrong in their assumptions; the fundamental difference in many cases between religious dogma and science.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi Kodzhâmnov, Thanks a lot! I suggest you to use a money compounding plan, it's really powerful, I personally like to use 1-3% account risk, but with a money compounding plan combined with shopping cart trading, i only look for 10-15pip retracement, it helps me easily gain 100-200 pips per day. Don't let a winning trade turn into a losing trade. Personally, I always use BE+1 when the price moves 5pips, it will increase your winning rate amazingly! Hope that is light for everyone! Congratulations!Ignored
DislikedHi Waveskierrob, Hope you have a nice day! I've been doing it for 6 months, As I said, I am a contrarian trader, I always trade at the price peak, when I receive a trading signal with a high probability of winning, I will load the order into my basket: with 1 pull -back 15-20 pips I will load about 5 orders, 5 x 15 75pip, a day I usually trade 3-4 baskets at the European open session. I'm a perfectionist, that's why I like to use 15pip hedging to regain lost pips, the goal is to increase my winning rate to 95%, and more importantly I hate losing...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Chào bạn Lazy, Thanks for replying, I'm actually a counter-trend trader, My entries have about an 85-90% probability of success. but there is still 10-15% of the price going over, so I want to learn a hedging strategy to get back the pips after the price hits the next pivot point Thank!Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hello WF, not 100% sure on the question but all I can say is I've always enjoyed this thread as many of the grown-ups seem to be of a similar mindset when it comes to trading. We recently had an example of someone who needed 100% certainty in their trading life with clear rules and constant profits (coupled with a minimal DD), nothing wrong with that but I doubt you'll find those answers on a public forum for free, if indeed they do exist. Whilst hedging/averaging without prediction sums up most of what I do it's not to say I'm not also...Ignored
